No, we aren't implementing A WoW version of the SEC or Social security but we are in the midst of many changes here at Empyrean and so far I couldn't be happier with the results.
Our numbers and gear level is going very well and I will officially be ending recruitement until there is a change in lineup. Over the next few weeks I will be working with guild leadership to establish roles for players and move people from the recruit rank to either member or raider.
Last night when we raided Gruul we had 9 replacements in the standby queue ready to raid and online throughout the raid. Only one person who signed up missed the start time and was quickly and easily replaced with the appropriate class. I couldn't be happier with all of you and would like to start by thanking everyone for making this guild what it has become. Out implementation of a loot system has also gone as planned and no issues have come up yet. EPGP may be slightly more confusing than straight DKP bidding but it has so far worked well and taken the stress of dealing with random rolls, DKP hoarding or just plain loot whoring off the leadership. The system is designed to be as fair as possible and to prevent favoritism from becoming an issue.
I'm also very happy to announce that our friends in "The Seraphim" have merged with Empyrean. We are all thrilled to have you all here and look forward to all the future PVE progression in store for all of us. Thank you guys and gals and let the fun begin!
